What I Am Doing Now
Program Coordinator
I coordinate the current three pillars of the Nova Scotia League for Equal Opportunities (NSLEO), Access Awareness Week NS, International Day of Persons with Disabilities, and the Quality of Life for Persons with Disabilities.

Skills I Learned Along The Way*
Social Media Management
Managing social media platforms by creating and curating content to increase engagement and awareness.
Graphic Design
Designing materials for communications mateirals using Canva, Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
Email Marketing
Creating and editing content for newsletters to send to mailing lists on MailChimp, Constant Contact, and Wix Ascend platforms.
Website Building
Creating, editing, and managing website content and designs using website builders such as Squarespace, Wix, and Wordpress.
Video Editing
Editing video content using iMovie and Adobe Premiere Pro for long form and short form videos including adding captioning.
Writing
Writing content such as social media captions, website copies, brand messaging, blogs, etc.
Office Platforms
Understanding and using productivity platforms such is Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
Tasks/Project Management
Planning and delegating tasks for projects using productivity platforms such as Notion, Asana, and ClickUp.
Event Planning and Support
Working with a team to plan in-person and virtual events and provide technical support for Zoom and Google Meets.

Interests
Taking an accessibility mindset which includes but is not limited to advocating for the social model of disability, accessibility, and disability rights for collaboration and awareness
Productivity and the labour market in relation to education and employment. (I will always pick SDG 8: Economic Growth and Decent Work as my favourite, I explained a snippet of it for IDW for the Inter-Council Network, check out the video )
Channeling my creativity through dancing, graphic design, video editing, painting, storytelling and any outlet my creativity gravitates towards.
Policy and decision-making in relation to why policies exist, how people come to a decision, the impacts, and how to improve the situation with different solutions.
